Prescription refills
If a provider at Novant Health Arbor Pediatrics has prescribed a medication for your child, contact your pharmacy when you have at least a three-day supply of the medication remaining. That will give your pharmacy a chance to refill the prescription or to call our office if permission is needed for the refill. Please plan ahead; our office does not handle refill requests after hours or on weekends.
Some prescriptions require you to bring a hard copy to your pharmacy. If your child's prescription falls into this category, we will tell you that when the medication is prescribed.
If your child is having difficulty taking a medication, please tell our office and your pharmacist.
